iALA (volunteers)The International Academy for Leadership through Adventure presents a balanced gap year programme with professional instructors. The iALA programme is a one year programme and is hosted from Hermanus to Stellenbosch and all the way to the Kruger National Park. The programme includes scuba diving, skippers licence, sea- and veld survival, mountain biking, first aid, weapons handling, hunting skills, community service, public speaking, career guidance and much more. Students are catered for with accommodation, transport, food and certain equipment. All the iALA students are volunteers on the Cape Outback as part of their event management module.

From its base in Grabouw, Western Cape, the Zulu Overland vehicles has been crisscrossing Southern Africa for the last ten years with their chartered and customised expeditions. The company has become vastly experienced over the years when it comes to catering for hungry adventurers in venues where the road has ended long ago. The Zulu Overlanding team will cater for the tired and hungry Cape Outback riders with three scrumptious meals every day of the expedition.

T4A believes that the only way to reliably and accurately map Africa is to put the task of land surveying in the hands of experienced and responsible eco-travellers who are in touch with conditions on the ground. Through its T4A Data Community as well as other partnerships, T4A is mapping the entire African continent.
