CORPORATE CHARITY ENTRIES - THE CONCEPT
The Cape Outback MTB Expedition has 10 Corporate Charity Entries available to companies that wish to enter teams for the Cape Outback 2012 to benefit a charitable cause of their choice. Any company that enters two or more teams for Cape Outback 2012 will receive a donation from the organisers of the Cape Outback MTB Expedition to a charity of their choice.
HOW IT WORKS
A company must enter at least two teams for Cape Outback 2012. For the first two teams a total amount of R2000 will be donated to a charity nominated by the company. For every team entered thereafter another R1000 will be donated to that charity.
A normal team entry to Cape Outback 2012 costs R11 900 per team. There are two riders in each team.
Companies wishing to make use of this charity drive must contact the expedition director, Jaco Loubser, at jaco@capeoutback.co.za. A unique Team Reference Number will be issued to the company which must be used when Charity Teams are entered.
THE RULES
- Corporate Charity Entries must be made via the normal online entry system and the unique Team Reference Numbers (issued by the organisers) must be used as reference.
- At least one member of each team must be a bona fide employee of the company.
- The organisers encourage the companies to use their company name and the name of the charity in the team name, but this is not a requirement.
- Corporate Charity Entries are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- There is no limit to the number of Corporate Charity Entries taken up by any company, but the total number of Corporate Charity Entries is limited to 10.
- The company must provide proof that their nominated charity is a bona fide charitable cause.
