The International Academy for Leadership through Adventure presents a balanced gap year programme with professional instructors. The iALA programme is a one year programme and is hosted from Hermanus to Stellenbosch and all the way to the Kruger National Park. The programme includes scuba diving, skippers licence, sea- and veld survival, mountain biking, first aid, weapons handling, hunting skills, community service, public speaking, career guidance and much more. Students are catered for with accommodation, transport, food and certain equipment. All the iALA students are volunteers on the Cape Outback as part of their event management module.
