7. Stage 5 will be open to the public!

- The mountain biking public can now get a taste of the
excitement of a 5 day stage expedition by joining us on the
last day of the 2010 Cape Outback MTB Expedition on 28
April. This 68km stage from Strandveld Wine Cellar to
Beloftebos will be open to the public. If 5 days and 470km
in the sounds a bit too much for you, you can still share in
the excitement by joining us for the last day.

Cycle World to the Cape Outback family. The very competent
and friendly team from Helderberg Cycle World will be
responsible for the workshop services of the 2010 Cape
Outback MTB Expedition.

4. iALA students join the Cape Outback volunteers!

- The Stellenbosch based Gap Year organisation iALA
(International Academy for Leadership through Adventure) has
joined the Cape Outback community. Their students will be
the volunteers tasked with marking the route, manning the
water stations and relocating the expedition villages during
the expedition.

2. CapeNature and Hessequa Join The Cape Outback

- Firstly, apologies for the delayed newsletter. I can blame
it on the weather, on the credit crunch, on Julius
Malema....but instead, we'll just blame it on all those
unexplored mountain bike trails that just kept popping up
every where on the scouting trips. We promise to be more "in
touch" from now on.

1. Entries for the 2010 Cape Outback MTB Expedition is open!

- Entries for the 2010 Cape Outback MTB Expedition is open!
Entries will be limited to 125 teams of two riders and
entries will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
Teams will have 15 calendar days to pay their entry fee in
full. Once fully subscribed, we will start a waiting list of
teams, so if you don't get your entry, all is not lost.
